WHAT
WE DO:
Silicon Pastures provides a forum for investors to see early stage
investment opportunities. Entrepreneurs submit detailed
information for evaluation and a select group are
invited to present at our monthly meetings. Silicon Pastures'
resources help investors identify high potential companies and
technologies based on criteria established by the investors.
HOW WE DO IT: Silicon Pastures works with universities, venture capital firms, and other angel networks in Wisconsin and Illinois to identify the widest range of high potential opportunities. We select presentations based on strength of technology, depth of management team, and potential for high returns. HOW
YOU FIT IN:
Participation in Silicon Pastures is restricted to accredited
investors. Angel investing may be an appropriate part of your
long-term investing strategy. Most of our investors expect to
invest between $10,000 and $100,000 per year in early stage,
high-risk opportunities. If you would like to get on our mailing list
or attend a meeting, please send an e-mail to teresa@siliconpastures.com.

The guest fee for attending a meeting is $150. The fee to become a member of Silicon Pastures is $2,500. Meetings are free of charge to members. Each meeting begins at 5:30 PM and proceeds as follows:
After the discussion, the group decides on one of three outcomes. The presenter is either told:
Regardless of the group’s decision, it is your choice whether or not to make an investment. Silicon Pastures is not a fund, nor does it take a cut of any investment you make. Unfortunately, though the investments are pre-screened, they sometimes fail. Since you choose to make the investment, you take on the risk of a company bankruptcy. If such a circumstance arises, you will most likely be able to write off the loss. Please note that in order to join Silicon Pastures, you must qualify as an accredited investor as defined by SEC Rule 501 of Regulation D. An accredited investor meets at least one of the following criteria: |
